Type RS Standard Size Male Thermocouple Connectors with Rugged Metal Cable Clamp Installed

  • Connector for Platium Rhodium Type R (Platinum 13% Rhodium) and Type S (Platinum 10% Rhodium) Thermocouple probes
  • Temperature Operating range of connector body is -40 to 400°F (-40 to 200°C)
    • The connector is capable of accurately transferring the full temperature range of Type R and Type S thermocouples.
  • Integral Metal Cable Clamp is installed on the connector body providing a very secure and rugged strain relief for wire or cable leads..
    • Clamp accepts Wire Diameters from .177" inch (4.5 mm) to .295" Inch (7.5 mm) diameter.
    • Smaller wire diameterscan be utilized with the clamp with addition of our silicone wire grommets and or applying heat shrink tubing.
  • Connector Pins - are roound design with a smaller diameter Copper Positive pin and larger diameter Negative Alloy 11 thermocouple compensating alloy.
  • Wire Connection terminals inside the connector provide a clamp down washer providing an easy to use although secure thermocouple wire connection point. A molded internal barrier prevents short circuits.
  • Stainless Steel screws with a Combination Head design accepting both slotted and phillips head screwdrivers.
  • Connector Body dimensions are 1.37" (35 mm) long by 1.00" (25.4 mm) wide by .500 (12.8 mm) thick with .590" (15 mm) long round pins.
