What is a RTD Sensor? It is a Temperature Sensor based on Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) technology. The temperature measurement is a result of a measured Change in Resistance. As the temperature increases the resistance in the measurement circuit also increases.
- The Temperature Sensing Element utilized in a RTD Sensor or RTD Probe Assemblies can have a temperature range from approximately -320 F Below Zero to 1,562 F (-196 to 850 C). Some speciality designs can reach 1,832 F (1,000 C)
