RTD Temperature Sensors

A RTD Temperature Sensor is based on Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) technology. The temperature measurement is a result of a measured Change in Resistance. As the temperature increases the resistance in the measurement circuit also increases.

• Temperature Range from Negative -320°F to 1,562°F  (-196 to 850°C).
• Some speciality designs can reach 1,832°F (1,000°C)
• Pt100 Platinum (100 ohm) elements with 3 Wire Lead Design are one of most popular temperature sensors due to the ability to provide an excellent balance of accuracy, stability, ease of use and durability.
• Pt1000 (Platinum 1000 ohm) designs are also available
