Type C Thermocouple 6 Inch and LONGER 1/8" Diameter Ceramic Sheath Ungrounded with a Miniature Male Ceramic Connector

  • Temperature Operating is 32 to 3600°F (0 to 1982°C).
    • Type C thermocouples should only be utilized in Reducing, Inert, or Vacuum atmospheres to help prevent the failure from Oxidation.
    • Alumina (Ceramic) Tube Melting Point in Vacuum is approx. 3632°F (2000°C). In Oxidizing or Reducing Atmospheres 2900°F (1650°C) or higher can be achieved
    • Internal 30 gage (.010") diameter wire is capable of 32 to 4,200°C (0 to 2315°C)
  • Closed End Ceramic Tube protects the thermocouple junction from the atmosphere and the ungrounded juction minimizes electrical noise interference.
    • Never Heat or Cool alumina ceramic tubes faster than 5°C per minute above 1000°C. In fact, a slower cool down rate is recommended

  • Instrument Connection - miniature male flat pin ceramic connector
    • Ceramic connector body with 1200°F (650°C) temperature rating
    • Connector can accurately trasnsfer the full temperature range of Type C thermocouples.
