- Stainless Steel and Inconel metal tube/sheath are the most common

- Temperature Range -328 to 4200°F (-200 to 2315°C)
- Diameters range from extremely Small 0.010" (0.25 mm) about the size of hypodermic needle to Larger 1/4" (6.3mm) diameters about the size of a pencil. The most commonly used diameter is 0.125" (1/8" or 3 .2 mm)
