Ungrounded Thermocouple Probes

Thermocouple Probes with an Ungrounded design isolate the thermcouple junction from the metal sheath of the probe and provides protection from electric interference of the temperature signal or voltage spikes to the instrumentation. 

• Ungrounded Thermocouple Junctions are encased in the metal sheath and protected from the measuring environment.
• The Temperature Response from an ungrounded probe time is slower than a grounded design in larger diameter designs although this difference decreases with smaller diameter probes.
