Type K Ceramic Sheath Thermocouple Probe Assembly 6 to 18" Inch Long 1/8" Diameter Alumina Sheath Ungrounded with Miniature Male Connector

  • Temperature Operating range -328 to 2300°F (-200 to 1250°C).
  • Ceramic Sheaths not only have a high thermal protection capability they are also inherently chemically inert and dense providing the opportunity be utilized in applications that cause other materials such as metals and plastics to degrade.
    • Alumina Ceramic tubes has a thermal shock rate (maximum heating or cooling per hour) of 200°C per hour although the alumina can be made in much smaller diameters than othe ceramics with a higher thermal shock rating. 
  • 30 gage solid (.010 inch) diameter Type K thermocouple wire inside the ceramic sheath
    • 30 gage Type K bare wire will function at the maximum high temperature stated, although a reduced operational life span may result.
    • Long term temperature functionality of 30 gage wire is typically 1690°F (920°C) 
  • Ungrounded thermocouple junction provides reduction of potential electronic interferene to the thermocouple signal
  • Instrument Connection: miniature male flat pin connector is attached with the thermoplastic body rated to 400°F (200°C) and is capable of accurately transferring the full range of Type K thermocouples.
    • High Temperature connectors are also avaiable with Thermoset or Ceramic designs and temperature ratings from 660°F (350°C) to 1200°F (650°C)
