Type K Thermocouple Probe - 12 Inch Long 1/8" Diameter Stainless Steel Sheath Ungrounded with a Transition to 40 Inches of Stainless-Steel Over Braided Fiberglass Insulated Lead Wire - Miniature Male Connector or Stripped Leads

  • Temperature Operating range of the probe sheath is -32 to 1,960°F (0 to 1070°C)
  • Ungrounded Thermocouple design minimizes electrical interference and provides protection to the thermocouple junction.
  • Bendable Probe - 12 inch long 1/8" diameter stainless steel MI Cable sheath design provide the ability to bend the probe to a radius of 2.5 times the diameter without damaging the sensor 
  • Transition to Lead Wire is stainless steel fitting backfilled with high temperature ceramic epoxy to 900°F (482°C) and a stainless steel spring providing strain relief for the lead wire.
  • Wire Leads - 40 inches (1 meter or 3.28ft) long of 24 gage stranded (7/32 - 7 strands of 32 gage (.008") diameter thermocouple wire individually insulated with Fiberlgass braid in a 2 wire parallel construction and Fiberglass outer jacket.
    • Stainless steel braid over the Fibergalss insulated provides additional mechanical protection.
    • Wire is rated up to 900°F (482°C)
  • Color Code is ANSI with a yellow insulated nickel chrome positive wire, red insulated nickel aluminum negative wire and brown overall jacket with silver stainless steel overbraid
  • Instrument Connection - stripped wire leads or miniature male flat pin connector
