Type B Thermocouple (Platinum Rhodium) with a 6 Inch and LONGER 1/8" Diameter Ceramic Sheath - 30 Gage (.010") Internal Wire with a Miniature Male Ceramic Connector

  • Continuous Temperature range 392 to 3092°F (200 to 1700°C)
    • Short Term Temperatures up to 3360°F (1850°C)
    • Type B themocouples work best in Air and Oxidizing environments and should not be used in a Vacuum or Reducing atmosphere without a protected and sealed sheath
  • Ungrounded thermocouple junction provides protection to the wire and can minimize electrical interferece to the measurement signal.
  • Closed End Alumina (Ceramic) Sheath protects the thermocouple junction from the atmosphere and the ungrounded juction minimizes electrical noise interference
    • 6 inch and LONGER 1/8" diameter rigid sheath rated to 3632°F (2000°C)
    • Never Heat or Cool alumina ceramic tubes faster than 5°C per minute above 1000°C. In fact, a slower cool down rate is recommended
  • Inner Wire is 30 gage .010 inch (0.25 mm) diameter internal bare wire
  • Instrument Connection: miniature male flat pin Ceramic thermocouple connector with the ceramic body rated to 1,200°F (650°C)
    • The connector can accurately transfer the full range of Type B thermocouples
