  • Ground Wire is 24 gage solid nickel plated copper and it is in contact with shield to provide additional grounding options
  • FEP Insulation on the 2 individual thermocouple wires and the outside jacket with a maximum temperature range of 400°F (200°C) rating and approx. 0.090" overall maximum dimension 
• Color Code - ANSI with Purple Positive leg and Red Negative  leg. The overall outside jacket is Purple
  
• Thermocouple Alloy Composition: Type E thermocouples consist of a positive nickel-chromium (NiCr) wire and a negative constantan (copper-nickel) wire.
