Type B Thermocouple Platinum Rhodium Exposed Junction 6 Inch and LONGER Flexible 30 Gage Solid Wire with Alumina (Ceramic) Insulators and Miniature Male Ceramic Connector

  • Type B Thermocouple - Positive Wire 70% Platinum and 30% Rhodium, Negative 94% Platinum and 6% Rhodium
  • Temperature Operating range 392°F to 3,092°F (200°C to 1700°C)
    • Typically temperatures of 1112°F (600°C) and above is recommended related to small thermocouple signal (millivolt) output at lower temperatures.
    • Short term up to 3,362°F (1850°C). Thermocouple probes made with smaller diameter bare wire will fail faster than sensors with larger diameters.
  • Wire Leads - 6 inches and LONGER with 1/2" Long Alumina Ceramic Insulators protectiing the 30 gage .010 inch (0.24 mm) diameter bare wire.
    • Alumina Insulator rated to 3632°F (2000°C)
