Type K Ceramic Sheath Thermocouple Probe Assembly 6 Inch and LONGER 1/8" Diameter Alumina Sheath Ungrounded with Miniature Male Connector
-
Temperature Operating range -328 to 2100°F (-200 to 1093°C).
- Type K thermocouples can measure down to -328°F (-200°C) below zero although the accuracy tolerance can exceed the 2.2°C standard limits of error.
-
Ceramic Sheaths 6 inch and LONGER 1/8" Diameter
- Ceramic sheaths not only have a high thermal protection capability they are also inherently chemically inert and dense providing the opportunity be utilized in applications that cause other materials such as metals and plastics to degrade.
- Alumina Ceramic tubes has a thermal shock rate (maximum heating or cooling per hour) of 200°C per hour although the alumina can be made in much smaller diameters than other ceramics with a higher thermal shock rating.
-
30 gage solid (.010 inch) diameter Type K thermocouple wire inside the ceramic sheath
- 30 gage Type K bare wire will function at the maximum high temperature stated, although a reduced operational life span may result.
- Long term temperature functionality of 30 gage wire is typically 1690°F (920°C)
- Ungrounded thermocouple junction provides reduction of potential electronic interferene to the thermocouple signal
-
Instrument Connection: miniature male flat pin connector
- Thermoplastic body able to work in an environment of -40 to 400°F (-40 to 200°C)
- Ceramic body able work in in a temperature range from Subzero to 1200°F (650°C) and in a Vacuum Environment
- Both Connector Body designs can accurately transfer the full range of Type K thermocouples
-
