- Type B Extension Grade Thermocouple wire is designed to accurately transfer the thermocouple signal from Type B Platinum Rhodium thermocouple probes to your temperature measurement instrumentation.
- The wire is a Thermocouple Compensating Alloy and not the expensive precious metal platinum rhodium materials.
- The individual wires and outside jacket have a 900°F (480°C) rated braided Fiberglass insulation.
- Bare Wire Diameters are 20 Gage - 0.032" Solid Bare Wires
- Insulated Wire construction - the wires are parallel to each other individual insulated with .006" Fiberglass Insulation on single wires and .006" Overall Fiberglass Fiberglass Jacket.
- Overall nominal dimension of .060" x .105"
- ANSI color code with a Gray on the Copper Positive wire and Red on the
Copper Negative wire with and overall Gray Outside Jacket
