Type T Thermocouple Probe 6 or 12 Inch Long 1/8 Diameter Stainless Steel Sheath Grounded with Transition to 24 Gage Stranded FEP Insulated Lead Wire with Miniature Male Connector

  • Temperature Operating range of the probe is -380 to 400°F (-229 to 200°C)
  • Grounded Thermocouple design provides protection to the thermocouple junction and fast response
  • Probe Sheath is Stainless Steel Tube backfilled with mineral insulation.
    • Probe has some limited bendability
    • 6 and 12 inches is typical although smaller customer lengths can be provided

  • Probe Transition to a Stainless Steel metal fitting backfilled with high temperature epoxy and Stainless Steel spring with 40" Inches of Plastic Fluoropolymer 400°F (200°C) rated lead wire.
    • 40 inch (1 meter) wire length is typicaly although custom lengths can be provided
  • Wire Leads- 24 Gage Stranded (7/32 is 7 strands of 32 gage twisted together) of Type T Thermocouple Grade Wire in a parallel construction with 2 wire individually insulated with FEP and overall jacket of FEP
    • Overall outside jacket is .060" x .100"
    • Color code - blue positive Copper wire, red negative Constantan wire with brown overall jacket 
  • Instrument Connection - miniature male flat pin thermocouple connector
    • Engineered plastic connector body temperature range -40 to 400°F (-40 to 200°C). Connector is capable of accurately transferring the full range of Type T thermocouples
