Type J Thermocouple Probe with 3.3ft to 20ft of Stainless Steel Braided Leads - 1/4" Inch Diameter 12 Inch Long Stainless Steel Sheath Ungrounded with Metal Transition Fitting to Lead Wire

  • Temperature Range is 32 to 1400°F (-40 to 750°C)
  • Thermocouple Design - 1/4" (.250" or 6.35 mm) diameter Bendable MI Cable stainless steel sheath.
    • MI Cable can be bent to a radius of 3 times the outside diameter of the metal sheath. It has highly compacted MgO powder providing excellent insulation the thermocouple wires from each other and from the metal sheath.
  • Ungrounded Thermocouple - the welded wire junction at the tip of the probe is isolated from the tip and overall sheath minimizing electrical signal interference.  
  • Transition Fitting is a 3/8" (.375" or 9.5 mm) diameter stainless steel housing backfilled with 400°F (200° C) rated epoxy and a metal spring strain relief
  • Lead Wire is 3.3ft (40 inches or 1 meter) to 20ft of Stainless Steel Braid over FEP insulated stranded thermocouple wire rated to 400°F (200°C)
    • ANSI Color Code - White on the positive wire, Red on the negative wire and Brown jacket with a Silver stainless steel overbraid jacket.
  • Instrument Connection - stripped wire lead
